Single-use, sterile and thin needles are used to address imbalances in your body, activating the innate healing power of your body. Acute conditions can be addressed rapidly withing 6-10 treatments. Long-term chronic conditions require a longer course of treatments to activate the body's natural healing activity in restoring balance.
Herbs are used in conjunction with other therapies to promote health. Using traditional Chinese medicines we can craft a plan to create better health.
We specialize in non-narcotic practices in healing pain. We use an array of proven methods (acupuncture, herbal medicines, salves, patches and ointments, Gua Sha, Tui Na and postural alignment). Our goal is to treat and relieve your pain permanently instead of using pharmaceuticals for temporary relief.
We utilize multiple modalities to treat the entire body affected by chronic and acute diseases, rather than managing or suppressing them. We work with you, one on one to not only have a healthy body but a healthy mind.
Please contact us if you cannot find an answer to your question.
We will review your health history and current goals in detail. Through the use of questioning, palpation and observation, an assessment and treatment plan will be formulated. If time permits, you may receive your first treatment. Please wear loose fitting clothing or bring a t-shirt and a pair of shorts to change into. This will ensure circulation is not impacted during your treatment. It is also important to arrive hydrated and having had a meal or snack before an appointment. Please allow 1.5 - 2 hours for the initial assessment.
Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture are an ancient form of holistic health care that address the whole person. They tend to your physical, mental, spiritual, and social needs, enhancing awareness of how all of these aspects of life affect your overall health.
It depends on your insurance plan. Please contact your insurance provider to learn if Acupuncture is covered on your plan. We will provide you with the paperwork that you will need to pass onto your insurance provider.
